Conrad Mewse affiancherà Bas Vaessen nel FIM Motocross World Championship 2019 classe MX2 e nel campionato MX britannico ACU Maxxis.

Hitachi KTM fuelled by Milwaukee è orgoglioso di annunciare la sua squadra per il 2019. L’attuale Campione di motocross britannico MX2 Conrad Mewse si unirà all’olandese Bas Vaessen per competere nella categoria MX2 del Campionato mondiale FIM Motocross 2019 e nel britannico Campionato di motocross Maxxis ACU.

Il Team Principal Roger Magee ha dichiarato: “Siamo stati molto felici di mettere sotto contratto Conrad ad Imola e poi chiudere il suo primo campionato inglese. Abbiamo osservato Bas per un paio d’anni e abbiamo pensato che fosse il momento giusto per portarlo nella famiglia KTM. Bas si è già adattato molto bene alla KTM e viaggerà verso Redsand con Conrad e il resto del team la prossima settimana per i test pre-stagionali con WP Suspension. “

Entrambi i piloti useranno la potente KTM 250 SX-F equipaggiata con motori semi-factory. “Conrad e Bas hanno così tanto potenziale e non vediamo l’ora di vederli spingersi l’un l’altro al livello successivo”, ha affermato Roger.

Graeme Irwin gareggerà nella categoria MXGP del campionato mondiale FIM Motocross e del campionato Maxxis ACU British Motocross. Graeme ha subito un certo numero di infortuni nel 2018 che gli sono costati la possibilità di difendere il campionato inglese nel 2017, quindi cercherà la rivincita a bordo della KTM 450 SX-F. “Sappiamo che Graeme ha la velocità per vincere, abbiamo solo bisogno di evitare un po’ della sfortuna che lo ha colpito. Siamo fiduciosi che Graeme sarà molto più forte in casa e nelle gare MXGP quest’anno, una volta che si sarà completamente ripreso dalle ferite riportate a Imola”, ha detto Roger.

I caschi e l’abbigliamento Troy Lee, gli stivali Alpinestars e gli occhiali Oakley offriranno ancora una volta abbigliamento e attrezzature all’avanguardia per Graeme, Conrad e Bas.

Hitachi Construction Machinery e Milwaukee Power Tools saranno sponsor per il titolo congiunto per il 2019 e oltre. Il nuovo look Hitachi KTM alimentato dal Milwaukee Team farà il suo debutto al Hawkstone Park International il 17 febbraio 2019.

Conrad Mewse teams up with Bas Vaessen to compete in MX2 F.I.M. Motocross World Championship and Maxxis ACU British Motocross Championship.

Hitachi KTM fuelled by Milwaukee are proud to announce their rider line-up for 2019. Current Maxxis ACU British MX2 Motocross Champion Conrad Mewse will team up with Dutchman Bas Vaessen to compete in the MX2 category of the 2019 F.I.M. Motocross World Championship and Maxxis ACU British Motocross Championship.

Team Principal Roger Magee said “We were very happy to re-sign Conrad at Imola and then clinch his first British championship. We’ve been watching Bas for a couple of years and thought it was the right time to bring him into the KTM family. Bas has already adapted to the KTM really well and will be travelling to Redsand with Conrad and the rest of the team next week for pre-season testing with WP Suspension.”

Both riders will use the potent KTM 250 SX-F equipped with semi-factory engines. “Conrad and Bas have so much potential and we’re looking forward to seeing them push each other to the next level,” said Roger.

Graeme Irwin will compete in the MXGP category of the F.I.M. Motocross World Championship and Maxxis ACU British Motocross Championship. Graeme endured a number of injuries in 2018 that cost him the chance to defend his 2017 British championship so will be looking for redemption aboard the KTM 450 SX-F. “We know Graeme has the speed to win, we just need to avoid some of the bad luck that bit him. We’re confident that Graeme will be much stronger at home and in the MXGPs this year, once he has fully recovered from the injuries sustained at Imola,” said Roger.

Troy Lee helmets and apparel, Alpinestars boots and Oakley goggles will once again provide state-of-the-art clothing and equipment for Graeme, Conrad and Bas.

Hitachi Construction Machinery and Milwaukee Power Tools will be joint title sponsors for 2019 and beyond. The new-look Hitachi KTM fuelled by Milwaukee Team will make their debut at the Hawkstone Park International on 17February 2019.
