Presentati ufficialmente anche i nomi dei piloti che faranno parte del Team Germany nell’edizione 2018 dell’MXoN sul tracciato americano di RedBud, in Michigan.

Il team tedesco sarà composto dal pilota Honda HRC Ken Roczen schierato nella classe MXGP, dal pilota TM Racing Max Nagl nella classe Open e dal pilota Husqvarna Henry Jacobi nella classe MX2.

Dopo un’assenza durata quattro anni, precisamente dal 2013 anno della sua ultima presenza, Ken Roczen tornerà a rappresentare la sua nazione in questo MXoN e nonostante tutti gli infortuni subiti nel suo recente passato, sicuramente sarà molto interessante veder competere il tedesco della HRC contro i suoi ex avversari su una pista che conosce molto bene.

Per quanto riguarda gli altri due membri del Team Germany, Max Nagl sta recentemente recuperando da un piccolo infortunio ma dovrebbe presto reintrare in gara. La sua stagione di esordio in sella alla moto italiana è stata altalenante è il miglio risultato ottenuto dal tedesco è stato un settimo posto in gara 1 nel round italiano del mondiale di Ottobiano ed è attualmente dodicesimo in classifica generale.

Jacobi invece è protagonista di una delle sue migliori stagioni nella classe MX2 che ha avuto come acuto un secondo posto in gara 1 nella prova italiana di Pietramurata, che gli ha consegnato il terzo gradino del podio a fine giornata. Nelle restanti prove il tedesco ha ottenuto numerose classificazioni all’interno della ‘top 10’ ed attualmente tredicesimo in classifica generale.

Concludendo, con questa formazione, a nostro parere il Team Germany può sicuramente puntare alla ‘top 5’ della classifica generale.

2018 MXoN, RedBud: Team Germany with Roczen, Nagl e Jacobi

Officially presented the names of the riders who will be part of Team Germany in the 2018 edition of MXoN on the American track of RedBud, in Michigan.

The German team will be composed of Honda HRC rider Ken Roczen in the MXGP class, TM Racing rider Max Nagl in the Open class and Husqvarna driver Henry Jacobi in the MX2 class.

After an absence lasted four years, precisely from the year 2013 of his last presence, Ken Roczen will return to represent his country in this MXoN and despite all the injuries suffered in his recent past, it will surely be very interesting to see the German HRC compete against his former adversaries on a track he knows very well.

As for the other two members of Team Germany, Max Nagl is recently recovering from a small injury but should soon re-enter the race. His debut season in the saddle of the Italian bike was fluctuating and the result obtained by the German was a seventh place in race 1 in the Italian round of the world championship in Ottobiano and is currently twelfth in the overall standings.

Jacobi, on the other hand, is the star of one of his best seasons in the MX2 class, which had a sharp second place in race 1 in the Italian round of the world championship in Pietramurata, which gave him the third step of the podium at the end of the day. In the suqsequent rounds the German has obtained numerous classifications within the ‘top 10’ and currently thirteenth in the overall standings. In conclusion, with this formation, in our opinion Team Germany can definitely aim for the ‘top 5’ of the general classification.
