Yamaha Motor Europe N.V è lieta di annunciare che Jeremy Seewer è stato arruolato nel team Monster Energy Yamaha Factory MXGP dove, in sella alla YZ450FM insieme all’ex campione del mondo MXGP Romain Febvre, prenderà parte al FIM MXGP World Championship 2019.

L’ex vice campione del mondo MX2 ha fatto una transizione positiva nella classe regina, la MXGP, dove ha stretto un rapporto speciale con il team ufficiale MXGP Wilvo Yamaha e ha migliorato le sue prestazioni a bordo della YZ450F ad ogni Grand Prix.

Con quindici round completati dei venti in calendario del FIM Motocross World Championship 2018, Seewer – che è all’ottavo posto nella classifica generale e miglior debuttante – finirà la stagione a bordo di una YZ450F con il pieno supporto del Wilvo Yamaha Official MXGP Team dove potrebbe chiudere l’anno come capitano del Team Switzerland nel Monster Energy Motocross of Nations di RedBud, USA, il 6 e 7 ottobre.

Jeremy Seewer, 2019 Monster Energy Yamaha Factory MXGP: “È davvero bello avere questa opportunità, è incredibile che dopo un anno dal trasferimento in Yamaha sono già entrato nel Team Factory, soprattutto dopo quello che mi è successo prima che mi trasferissi in Yamaha, quando non avevo un accordo, la Yamaha è stata quella che mi ha preso e mi ha dato una possibilità. Ho raggiunto il Wilvo Yamaha Official MXGP Team e sono molto grato per questo, e ora un anno dopo sono in grado di passare nel Factory Team e questo è fantastico, allo stesso tempo sono un po’ triste nel lasciare i ragazzi di Wilvo Yamaha, è una grande squadra con delle persone buone intorno a me, sono come una famiglia per me, ma ho bisogno di andare avanti e non vedo l’ora di lavorare con il Factory Team e sulla YZ450FM Factory.”

Non è una transizione facile per nessun pilota, ma Jeremy ha fatto un lavoro fantastico e riteniamo che meriti un posto nel Team Factory nel 2019. Seewer Moves to Monster Energy Yamaha Factory MXGP

Yamaha Motor Europe N.V is pleased to announce that Jeremy Seewer has been drafted into to the Monster Energy Yamaha Factory MXGP Team where he will campaign a YZ450FM alongside the former MXGP World Champion Romain Febvre inside the 2019 FIM MXGP World Championship.

The former two-time MX2 vice World Champion has made a successful transition into the premier class, MXGP, where he has formed a special relationship with the Wilvo Yamaha Official MXGP Team and has improved his performance onboard his YZ450F at each and every Grand Prix thus far.

With fifteen rounds from twenty of the 2018 FIM Motocross World Championship complete, Seewer – who is currently eighth place in the Championship Classification and is the best placed rookie – will finish the season onboard a YZ450F with full support from the Wilvo Yamaha Official MXGP Team where he might wrap the year up as captain of Team Switzerland at the Monster Energy Motocross of Nations in Red Bud, USA, on October 6th and 7th.

I got to join the Wilvo Yamaha Official MXGP Team and I am very grateful for that, and now one year later I am able to move to the Factory Team and that is awesome. At the same time, I am a little bit sad to leave the Wilvo Yamaha boys already, it’s a great team with good people around me. They’re like family to me, but still we need to move on and I am really looking forward to working with the Factory Team and on the Factory YZ450FM.”

He joined Yamaha this year, after many years on another brand, and he had to move up into the premier class, MXGP, with a completely new bike and new team. His season has been great so far, especially in terms of his progress and how he is racing.
